Polar Bears and Saturday

A few weeks ago, my mom and I were going through some bags of old clothes from our storage unit to get rid of, and I came across this amazing polar bear sweater that I had almost forgot about! It had been my Grandma's, but she had given it to my older brother when we were little. I don't remember him ever wearing it much, but I definitely will! I love things that remind me of my Grandma, she was such a cute, sweet woman. She died two years ago about a week ago and I think I've been subconsciously wearing things that either were hers or make me think of her. Like this clock necklace! I think I've worn it almost every day for about a week and in my last two posts.

I'm so happy that it's finally the weekend! (Though I'm not sure why I say finally, the week actually seems to have gone by pretty fast.) Today I'll be trying to get myself to get off my lazy butt and get some shop listings up and bake a cake for my friend's late birthday party that's this evening. Cross your fingers for me that I won't fail in my quest!

  1. That sweater is so fun, and is really quite pretty. I love the fact that it was your grandma's. ♥ My red beanie was knit by my Grandma Audrey, and whenever I wear it I think of her. ♥

    Bake that cake! ;D

  2. You look so warm, I love the layered knits! The cardigan is lovely. I wish I owned some of the clothes my grandma used to have. Good luck with the cake!
