A Beautiful Surprise

About a week ago, I received this absolutely beautiful package from New Zealand in the mail. I don't know how many of you knew about the blogger secret Santa that Laura put together, but it turns out that Emma of the lovely online shop Emma Makes drew my name! You can see just how beautifully she wrapped everything and how much thought and care was put into this package. I was completely blown away by her generosity.

I have yet to try the face wash (I'm waiting until I run out of my current one), but Josh and I ate about half of the chocolate bar yesterday, and I wrote my list of goals for 2012 in the "hopes and dreams" notebook (more on that to come). And I was so ridiculously excited when I saw that she had sent an issue of Frankie! I had heard about it and really wanted to read it, but I didn't think that I would ever get the chance. But thanks to Emma, now I can! I'm reading it quite slowly so I can savor it, but it fits my tastes exactly. God, I wish they sold it in the states!

If you happen to be reading this Emma, thank you so SO very much! I love everything that you sent me, but the thought and care you put into it means even more. Merry very late Christmas!

Did any of you participate in the secret Santa? How did it go? :)

  1. Oh, this is gorgeous! Emma sounds like a really lovely person and this package is really pretty. I can't believe they don't sell Frankie in the US! So nice of Emma to send you an issue, I would've been excited too!

  2. Frankie is a lovely magazine- I am currently reading that same issue as well, it always promises a good read. They have a website you might enjoy, it is a lot like the magazine.
I hope I can participate this year ( it is only 356 days away, I can get excited- right?)

Thank you so much for all of your comments on my blog, it means a lot. In actuality is was your YouTube which lead me here, so understandably I owe you a lot.
