Four Years

For four years today, Josh and I have been together. We're young and we fight and are sometimes incredibly stupid, but I cannot say anything more truthfully than that we are who we are in large part because of each other. We met in our freshman year of high school and now we're freshman in college - we've grown up together, and we're continuing to learn. Josh has been with me through the hardest times of my life. He has comforted me and given me the sometimes painful wake up calls I've needed. He helps me find my courage. He makes me laugh. There's no one who knows me quite as well as he does, and I know that whatever happens in the future, he will always have a place in my heart and my memories that no one else could possibly fill. I'm so lucky to have had these four years with such an amazing person.

Below are a few pictures, ranging from the first photo ever captured of us (I was extremely camera shy and nervous), to prom, to Christmas two days ago - from clean shaven to bearded Josh and long  to short-haired me. Neither of us are the same person we were when we met, but I like to think that we've grown into ourselves with each other's help.

If you're reading this, Happy Anniversary, Josh!

I love you very much.

(P.S. - I'm sorry for the extreme amounts of cheesiness. I really couldn't help it! :) )
