There's so little left of this Summer and it's breaking my heart. There are still so many things that I want to do, make, read...and there's only two days left to do them in. The ends of Summers usually go something like this, but will be my last year of high school. This time next year I'll be getting ready to leave to college, and, if things go as planned, I'll be going to Europe too. It's just a bit scary to think that this is my last summer like....this. I don't know if I'm making sense, but it should suffice to say that I'm getting a little nostalgic.

None of these pictures really show my outfit entirely ( :) Josh has a way of doing that when he takes my outfit pictures for me, silly kid), but I think you can get the gist of it! Isn't the shirt pretty? I had been debating whether to sell or keep it for a while, but I finally decided to be selfish :). But I love the semi sheer-ness, the collar, the color - everything about it! I do feel a little guilty about how many shorts and how few skirts and dresses I've been wearing this summer, though. But I'm sure that will change with school. I'm usually more motivated when I know that people are actually going to see my outfits. Not that I dress for other people, it just makes me a bit sad to wear an outfit that I really love and am proud of when I know that no one will see it.

Does that happen to you guys?

I also totally copied Maria with these shoes. I had had my eye on them for a while, but when she wore them on her blog and mentioned that they were finally on clearance, I couldn't wait to get to a Target to get a pair for myself. And I'm sure glad that I did! I've been wearing them with almost everything, and they go with just about anything! I love them to death. So thank you, dear, for the unintentional tip off! I owe you one.

See how Maria's worn them here, here, here, here, and here.

Double Peter Pan Collar Blouse- Thrifted ($4?), Black Felt Hat- Inherited, Black Cutoff Shorts- Free, Tan/Brown Heels- Target ($13), Snake Ring, a.k.a. Walter- Amsterdam (from Josh), Brown and gold ring- Forever 21 ($3), Time Turner Necklace- Christmas gift from Josh, Bottle Necklace- Joann Fabrics/DIY

I still have so many things to tell you guys about! Soon. :) In the meantime, have a wonderful afternoon.

Much love to you all,

Victoria

(Thank you for the pictures, Josh!)

  1. I know what you mean with getting nostalgic and all...this is my first year of high school and it just feels weird. And then next summer I'll be working and starting college planning...eeeeek, it's kinda scary!

That. hat. is. gorgeous. ♥ Haha, sometimes I do that with stuff for my shop too...I like it too much to sell, though that was my original intention, but then my selfishness takes over, haha. :)

Yeah, we're shoe twiiiiiins! I love them and they do literally go with everything! I'm wearing them with a little black dress this evening for a fancy-shmancy dinner. :)

Oh, and you should give the nautical bandanna/scarf thing with a collared shirt a try...I'd LOVE to see your take on it! :)
