Autumn Falling

Outfit Details:

Cable Knit Sweater - Thrifted ($2), Socks - Kohl's ($8), Pixie Boots - Traded on Etsy, Cutoff Shorts (unseen, but I promise they're there!) - From a friend, Crest Pin - Thrifted ($7), Rings - Colorado Springs and a gift from Josh

Yesterday morning I woke up, got out of bed, then killed some time by reading a few of the nights' new blog posts, including this one. I went and got ready, only to find that I didn't have nearly as much time as I thought I had. I'm not sure whether the way my outfit turned out was intentionally so similar to hers or if it was subconscious (though I swear I didn't notice the pin until I looked at it just at least I came up with that part on my own), but as you can see...I definitely ripped it off. Sorry for stealing your outfit, but thank you for the inspiration, Maria!

Does anything like that ever happen to you guys?

Yesterday and today have been the most beautiful days. Some of the leaves have dropped, but not all, and it's still been warm enough for me to tuck myself up under a tree next to the water and willows and read. I love Winter, but I'll miss the peacefulness of being able to just go outside and do things like this when it's too cold. It's one of the most beautiful things I feel you can do.

I hope you're all doing well!

Take care.

  1. Don't apologize for "stealing" my outfit! It's called inspiration. :) And it makes me happy that we can be outfit twins. ♥ And you looked super adorable and gorgeous, as usual. :)

Ahh, your days sound so lovely. Your pictures really capture the bit of autumn where you live. I love it. ♥
