What a week it's been!
This was the last week of the grading period and I had/have some very unfortunate grades to worry about. I think I brought them up at least a bit, but my report card still won't be too pretty. I have realized that I'm a perfectionist stuck in a slacker's body/mind. Not a good combination.
My other worry this week was Josh. He had surgery on his nose on Tuesday. Our friend Erik had broken it while they were boxing a few months ago and it made it hard for him to breathe, which, understandably drove him crazy. You couldn't tell that it was broken, so I didn't believe that it was until he told me that the doctor said that his septum was almost horizontal! He was pretty miserable after the surgery, but he's finally starting to feel better :)
And it's finally the weekend, so I really can't complain.
So I believe I had mentioned some things I got in Colorado in my last post? Here they are!
This very 60s checkered dress. It's just a tiny tiny bit too big, but I love it! I got it from the flea market for $3! |
And!!!
A 1959 Hermes 3000 typewriter! It's perfectly functional and the color of it is beautiful. I bought it from the sweetest people at the flea market for $40. |
Awesome blog, your photography is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for following me.
And hey I wasn't too good at school myself, it'll get better...i promise. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel, and now that I'm in art school things are a lot better!
Cheers,
Avery
