too much of nothing

Well, it's finally October (obviously I'm a little late) and I'm planning so many things for this month. I've got a bake sale for a sort of volunteering club I'm in on Thursday, my family and I might go to the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque on Friday (it'd be my first!), and Josh's birthday is on Saturday! In a bit over a week I'll be starting to work on the Fall lookbook for my shop, too....hopefully with a new camera! I'm so excited!

I thrifted this fancy 60s-esque robe sometime last week for $1.80, and I've been wearing it ALL the time since then. I wear it not only over my frumpy pajamas, but over my regular clothes too. I almost want to wear it outside of the house as well. It such a pretty color, has lovely lace detailing, and it's just SO FUN!

Oh, and I got my hair cut again! Noot sure that you can tell, but I went shorter this time, and I'm really happy with it.

The title for this post came from this record. It's Peter, Paul and Mary (stolen from my Papa), and it's one of my very favorite albums. And it has Puff, the Magic Dragon on it...makes me want to cry every time.

I've been finding it really hard lately to just read one book at a time. These are the two I'm reading as of right now. Granted, Crime and Punishment is assigned for my AP Lit. class, but I still really like it. The book on the left is the first in The Tawny Man series, which is a follow-up to the Farseer Trilogy (which are some of the best books I've ever read).

Have a wonderful day!

  2. That robe is so dreamy and pretty! I'd probably want to wear it outside the house too, haha. :)

Your hair looks so darling! It reminds me of Emma Watson. :)

Puff the Magic Dragon. ♥ I love Peter, Paul, and Mary.
